Being in Love

Falling in love, and remaining in love is intoxicatingly beautiful, scary, and painful. As our hearts open and continue opening, our pre-existing wounds open too. We feel heart pain and grief, sometimes, at first not knowing why. It is up to us to immerse ourselves in the pain to see what emotions are surfacing. What happened to us before? What are we fearful of? It is critically important to share the previous experiences with our partners so they have context for what we are experiencing. Finding the right partner is imperative. As the right one will love you through your trauma, not chastise or belittle you for it!
